Is MemberZone a good membership and loyalty solution for Shift4?
Yes. MemberZone runs memberships, subscriptions, and rewards on Shift4 Dine, with member lookup, rewards, and points right at the register. Unlike points-only loyalty apps, it also ships physical goods with fulfillment, shipping labels, and tax built in.
Does Shift4 have a built-in membership or subscription program?
Shift4 Dine includes loyalty and gift card tools, but not full memberships with tiers, allocations, recurring dues, and physical fulfillment. MemberZone adds that membership layer on top of Shift4, so everything still rings up at the register.
How do staff find a member on Shift4 Dine?
Staff scan the QR code on the member's phone or search by email, phone, or the member's six-character code.
Do rewards apply automatically on Shift4?
The register shows the rewards a member can use on the current check, and staff choose which to apply. Taking one back off releases it, and points post when the check closes.
Can staff charge a card on file on Shift4?
Not at the Shift4 register. Shift4 Dine has no way for another app to take payment there, so members pay at the register as usual. Membership dues still bill automatically through MemberZone.
How does MemberZone connect to Shift4?
Install MemberZone from the Shift4 Marketplace in Customer Hub and paste your MemberZone business ID during the install. The install then appears in MemberZone, where you confirm the location it belongs to.
Is Shift4 Dine the same as SkyTab?
Yes. Shift4 Dine was formerly called SkyTab, and MemberZone works with Shift4 Dine version 1.128 or later.
How much does MemberZone cost with Shift4?
Starter and Growth have no monthly platform fee. You pay a percentage of the membership and loyalty volume you process, starting at 2.8% and dropping to 2.4% as you grow. High-volume programs move to Enterprise, a flat monthly rate set by revenue and member count. Everyday Shift4 sales are not counted.
