Reports

The Reports page (needs View Analytics or Export Data) has one-click built-in reports, your saved templates, and Zoe for anything else.

Built-in reports

Reports are grouped by Members, Orders & Fulfillment, Revenue & Finance, Reconciliation, Promotions, Products & Inventory and Compliance, with a Search reports... box. Click a report to run it; it downloads when it's ready ("Generating your report - it'll download when ready"). Some reports offer a Summary or Detail version.

  • The BevLogic ship-compliance export (under Compliance) is offered only to businesses that sell alcohol.
  • Signup answers and the "How did you hear about us" reports are covered in Signup Questions and Members.

Asking Zoe for a report

Click Ask Zoe in the page header and describe what you need, for example "promo code usage this year". Zoe shows a preview of the report with its filters and columns, with Edit and Save as template:

  • Edit opens the report's editor in Zoe's panel: change the title, filters, columns and format, then click Run report, or Save as template. Back to Zoe returns to the conversation.
  • Save as template opens a sidebar (see below).

Zoe names columns by their headers in the report, never by internal field names.

Report templates

A template turns a report into a one-click button under Your templates ("Reports your team saved for one-click reuse.").

  • Save as template (from Zoe's preview or editor, or from a recent report) opens the Save as template sidebar: "Turn this report into a one-click button you can run anytime." Give it a name, an optional Description, and the Prompt that describes the report, then click Save template.
  • To change one, open the template's menu (Template options) and choose Edit. The Edit template sidebar opens ("Update this reusable report. Changing the prompt re-plans it on the next run."); click Save changes.

Recent reports

Recent reports in the header opens a sidebar of files you've generated: "Download, regenerate, or save one as a template." Clear history permanently deletes your finished reports for this business (reports still in progress are kept).

Columns in your business's words

Report columns follow your business type:

  • A product's production year is Vintage for wineries and wine bars, and Production Year for everyone else. The product page and inventory editor use the same word.
  • Alcohol % appears only for businesses that sell alcohol.
  • Outside wineries and wine bars, a product's category is its storefront category (or Uncategorized).
  • Tax on products reads Product tax.
